This Privacy Policy explains how ClipMage by Strive-Ops ("ClipMage," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our desktop application, website, early access downloads, and related services.

ClipMage is a local-first clipboard, notes, and reminder utility. Clipboard history and notes are intended to remain on your device.

3. Information Processed by the App

Clipboard Content

If you turn clipboard capture on, ClipMage may read and save copied text from your system clipboard.

Notes and Reminders

ClipMage stores notes, pinned items, pop-out reminders, reminder settings, and related content you create.

Settings and Preferences

ClipMage stores app settings such as capture status, storage preferences, limits, and configuration choices.

Local Database

ClipMage uses local storage, including SQLite, to store app data on your device.

4. Website and Purchase Information

If you visit our website, contact support, request early access, or purchase ClipMage, we may collect information such as your email address, name (if provided), support messages, purchase status, and payment confirmation details from payment providers.

ClipMage may be offered with a 14-day full trial and a Pro unlock requirement after trial expiration. We may process license and entitlement status needed to validate active access.

5. Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party platforms. We do not directly store full card or bank details unless explicitly stated in a future system.

Clipboard tools can store sensitive information while capture is enabled. Avoid copying passwords, authentication codes, private keys, banking details, medical information, legal documents, or confidential business information when capture is on.

9. Backups and Exports

Exported files may contain clips, notes, and reminders. You are responsible for securing exported files.

10. Sharing Information

We may share limited business information only when required (for example with payment processors or legal compliance). We do not sell clipboard history or local notes.

11. Cookies and Analytics

The desktop app does not require cookies. If website analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated.

12. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until removed. Support and purchase records may be retained as reasonably necessary for support, accounting, and legal purposes.

13. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for securing your device and backups.

ClipMage is not intended for children under 13.
