ClipMage Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ClipMage by Strive-Ops, including the desktop app, website, downloads, updates, documentation, and related services.

By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using ClipMage, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product Scope

ClipMage is a local-first productivity app for clipboard history, notes, and pop-out reminder cards.

2. Early Access Notice

Early Access versions may include unfinished features, bugs, UI changes, and evolving data formats. Keep backups of important information.

3. License

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClipMage for personal or business productivity purposes, subject to these Terms.

4. Local Data and User Responsibility

ClipMage stores clips, notes, reminders, settings, and backups locally on your device. You are responsible for your device security, clipboard capture usage, and backup handling.

5. Clipboard Capture

When enabled, clipboard capture may save copied text from your system clipboard. Do not enable capture when handling sensitive content that should not be stored.

6. Cloud Sync

Unless explicitly announced in a future release, ClipMage does not provide cloud sync.

7. Backups and Exports

Exported files may contain sensitive data. You are responsible for secure storage and sharing of exported files.

8. Purchases and Access

ClipMage may be offered under a 14-day full trial model followed by a required Pro purchase to continue use. Terms presented at checkout or on the product page apply to each purchase.

9. Refunds

Refund handling may vary by platform policy and applicable law. For assistance, contact support@strive-ops.com.

10. Updates

We may release updates, fixes, and feature revisions. You are responsible for installing updates if you want the latest improvements.

11. Third-Party Services

ClipMage may use third-party services for payments, distribution, hosting, or support. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClipMage to violate laws, infringe rights, distribute malicious content, bypass licensing controls, or misrepresent Strive-Ops products.

13. Intellectual Property

ClipMage, Strive-Ops branding, logos, software, and documentation are owned by Strive-Ops or its licensors. Your own notes and clipboard content remain yours.

14. User Content

You are responsible for all content you store, import, export, or manage in ClipMage.

15. No Professional Advice

ClipMage is a productivity utility and does not provide legal, financial, medical, or security advice.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

ClipMage is provided "as is" and "as available," to the fullest extent permitted by law.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strive-Ops is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous 12 months, or $10 if no payment was made, unless law requires otherwise.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Strive-Ops for claims arising from misuse of ClipMage, violations of these Terms, violations of law, or rights infringements.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to paid downloads, licensing services, updates, or support for Terms violations.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States and relevant state law, subject to required legal exceptions.
